pcad 200 refection

my reflection of the project has been this. my reflection of the project has been this. is a positive to be working as a team on a project is fun to be given a task and being able to deliver a good product is really fun.
i liked that tasks i was given at first i didn't because the assist list i was given was massive and i thought i wouldn't be able to create all of them, but when i was asked to make the attic it was all good again.

pixels

it is fine working in pixels luckily being able to change the brush tool in Photoshop was a great help.

this is a new skill i think i have gained iv never made pixel art but for my first go it went alright i kept it really simple also so next time i have a task in this style i could maybe put more detail or draw something more complexes. i mainly draw characters but in this case iv just kept to rooms, which was different.

the room

so i made the attic and which i think has worked well it to me has a look of an attic and when put together with the rest of the rooms in the house"game" looks really good. i went with a very clean looking attic, i could of done a messier attic but i thought if it was a messy attic il just be boxes and look really boring this is why i have done it in this way
the colors work together and the assist i have decided to place in to it work also. i cant think there are bad things with it i wouldn't mind adding more assist. such as, old furniture,more boxes make a view in the window, they said they didn't like a background in the window when i made my prototype of a room but now looking at the attic i kind of wanted to make a view in the window using pixels but because they didn't like it at the start i didn't. maybe a bed. the thing is its a small room and i don't know the size of the characters in relation of the assist this brings to me to my next point which i thought i wasn't apart of what so ever which is the rest of the team.

i know what every one was doing but like i said before when not know the size of the characters luckily it didn't matter that much for me to carry on with my job roll but it would be nice anyway to know just in case. i think if i'm going to do any team work briefs again i'm going to have to know what the other people are doing. i do remember i couldn't start the attic because i didn't get the measurements of the room for a while so i couldn't work just in case it was all wrong.

best parts of my work

my favorite parts of my work i find is all of it. if i don't like something i change it. the attic looks OK to me i like the pillars/ support beams  i got the idea of those from a reference image.
out of all my assist the sofa is my best one.
something i could of changed is the light, looking at it now i could of given it more depth and atmosphere.
